2010-2011 Tuition Schedule

Pre-Kindergarten: $8625 (includes complimentary after school care from 12:00-3:00)
Kindergarten: $13,800 (includes complimentary after school care from 12:00-3:00 on
Mondays and Fridays)
Grades 1-5: $17,500
Grades 6-9: $20,380

Tuition and fees cover expenses including field trips, athletic trips and general classroom texts and supplies.  It does not include some books, some athletic gear or foreign travel.

Deposit of $1,500 is required to hold a space for each child enrolled.

Affording an Upland education

Upland offers need-based financial aid and a variety of payment plan options to help families manage the cost of pursuing an independent school education. Interested families may apply for need-based grant aid by completing a School and Student Service (SSS) Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) by January 4, 2010 and submitting 1040 and W-2 tax documents by February 1, 2010. Though admission to the school is need-blind, families should apply for aid at the same time as applying for admission. Upland believes that the SSS needs analysis system is the most fair and equitable way through which independent schools can determine a family’s financial circumstances.

Upland families have the option of paying tuition costs through a variety of payment plan options. While many families pay 70% of their tuition charges in July and the remaining 30% in December, many others subscribe to a ten-month payment plan offered through SMART Tuition Management Services. SMART plan materials are included in our enrollment acceptance packets.

Financial Aid Process

1. Apply for Admission to Upland Country Day School

2. Request forms from the Upland Financial Aid Office by checking the appropriate section on the Upland application form. You can also download the forms from the School and Student Services website by going to http://sss.nais.org. SSS forms are due by January 4, 2010. School and Student Services will send your completed form to Upland. A printable pdf of instructions can also be found HERE.

3. Submit copies of the 2008 1040 and W-2 forms and any supplementary schedules to the Upland Financial Aid Office by February 1, 2010, or as soon as possible if applying after February 1
